homemade pesto experiment
Friday, October 24th, 2008So a few days ago we had a craigslist find of free basil. We have a small plant growing on our back porch but this was take as much as you want. So my roommates picked up a whole bag full early in the morning and that night we set out to make some pesto. A bit of roasted garlic and pine nuts, ground up in a blender with the pesto and we had fairly cheap, delicious home made pesto. The shots came out lookin like it’s 1988 but are sorta neat, especially paired with our funky old electric stove.
